Disabled Girl and Her Friend Accept Christ
by: Esterlita Abrenica, MVC Student Missionary
as told to Mrs. Nelita B. Janoyan

“We wanted to be baptized even before receiving the Bible studies,” was the striking statement of India and her friend Neneng.

Barangay Kalagangan is quit a distance from Bulalang.  In spite of Inday’s difficulties in walking that far, with her friend, Neneng, they often visit the Bulalang Mission School and observe the religious activities.  They love to attend the prayer bands.  The Student Missionaries invited them to attend the Bible class in which they learned more about the love of God.  Their desire to be saved encouraged them to be baptized.  They were just so eager and excited as they walked hand in hand December, 1994, with Pastor Tanginan to the river near Bulalang Mission School  Inday and Neneng accepted Christ as their personal Savior and publicly proclaimed their intentions to live for Him.

The parents of these two young girls were impressed and curious to find out why their children accepted baptism.  They, too, are know attending the religious activities at the mission school.  They are learning more about the truth of salvation through Jesus Christ.  Light is illuminating the hearts of these parents.

Inday and Neneng are praying that someday, their parents will feel the joy that they are enjoying as Christians.
